Seems like there's been an upswing in the presence of the Canadian farming community here. 🍁

To celebrate this I've created a Starter Pack for all supporters of #CdnAg.

Let me know if you'd like to be added (or removed) and feel free to tag anyone else out there.

Back in southern Ontario for a 3-day trip to gather examples of double cropping.

After our trips here in June/July we are revisiting fields that had winter crop varieties & seeing what is there now.

Today we were driving in the Woodstock/Brantford/ Kitchener area. #cropmap25 #ontag #cdnag

For the last 2 months, AAFC teams have been collecting observations in Canada to use in #cropmap25.

This week we finish with a trip to northwest Ontario. Our team will visit Thunder Bay, Rainy River, Dryden & all points in between, recording what's growing in this part of #ontag.

What does one do after they have driven over 10,000km in the last month for work?

Why pack up the trailer and drive another 700+ km to camp along the shores of Lake Erie of course! 🙄🤣

The path less travelled really paid off today.
Came across 30-40 horses. No visible markings on them so perhaps they are wild/feral?
The group in the middle is protecting a young foal. It took a while to get around them. #cropmap25

On narrow gravel roads overlooking the Fraser River. Dr. Emily documents what is native grassland and what is rangeland. Her research will help the Annual Crop Inventory better distinguish these differences in the future. #teamup
