This is my 2nd NYE in China but in the last 365 days I completed my first full year here and just wow. Many ups and downs. No matter how much I study the language, it never seems enough. Just when I think I’ve got the work culture down, they throw something else at me that bamboozles me +

There is something going on with pink at the NYE galas in China and I am trying to figure out what it means but I am coming up short. But multiple channels are doing it so it means SOMETHING.

It’s New Years Eve and I’m sitting here in my apartment in Hangzhou with lanterns hanging in my windows sitting with my bestie from 美国 and life is good. It’s so nice to have her here. Life can be pretty lonely in 中国 sometimes, but we are making it work! @sian265.bsky.social

Yibo confirming for us all in English that he’s not filming things. Just focussing on climbing and racing. He also said he’s living in Shanghai but I wonder if he just meant he’s staying in Shanghai for a bit bc of the racing
