We’re looking for an Exhibit and Events Technician to support the technical delivery and maintenance of exhibits and events, helping to bring videogame stories to life for visitors of all ages.

Fun whistlestop tour of #EGX & #MCM today! As always the highlights for me were the lovely videogames on showcase in the #LeftfieldCollection and #GameRepublic Zone (and the many stickers I purchased in Artist Alley...).

We had such a fun #TakeoverDay with @st-marys.bsky.social this afternoon! Super excited about their visit to us and we had some brilliant ideas for future games and exhibits in the Museum Makers Workshop they took part in!

She’s putting in the miles to support our work preserving gaming history, delivering educational programmes, and our outreach projects.

This free event presented the ideal CPD (Continuing Professional Development) opportunity for professionals as well as being able to play together (and compete too!) in the Museum’s gallery of over 100 playable games and interactive exhibits.

Our team had a brilliant day yesterday at Yorkshire Games Festival.

We enjoyed all the talks including an insight into audio design from @elirainsberry.com sberry.com, a presentation from @twopointstudios.bsky.social's Gary Carr, a deep dive into videogame art design with @kittbyrne.bsky.social...
