My Christmas Eve dinner never arrived. The vendor thinks that the doordasher stole it. I thought these systems were supposed to have some sort of accountability. *shrug*

I just set up a NAS with a 48TB storage pool (72TB physical, tolerant to 1 drive failing). Compare this with my first HDD, a ST-4096 80MB full-height 5.25" drive that cost me MORE in inflation-adjusted dollars than the NAS did. The physical capacity of the new NAS is roughly 1 million times bigger.

I just had the novel experience of dropping my phone into a pan full of dirty motor oil. I hate maintaining mechanical things, I'm awful at it.

Spent 2 days psyching myself up to drive to SF to attend the company holiday party cuz it would be good to actually see my coworkers once in a blue moon. Was about to head out when they drop a critical assignment that must be done today. Don't invite me to a party and then make sure I can't go. 😡

I showed a coworker some of my art on a conf call, now she wants to see it all. I said I'd send more, hoping she'd forget when I went on sabbatical. Nope- now she's reminding me to send her the art and I'm stressing out, arrrrrgh. I'm not ready to show my special weirdness to normies
