This final paragraph from Suad Aldarra’s article in the @irishtimes.com yesterday is so moving. I’m so glad she met someone like Patrick and that she has that warm memory to help bolster her against the likes of Stephen

I thought the Irish Independent was a national newspaper. Emer O’Kelly’s article on comfort in Irish theatres implies that the country stops at the M50. If she wants comfort, she needs to visit the @limetreetheatre.bsky.social in #Limerick!

Emer O'Kelly: Two people have randomly complained about how uncomfortable they have been while attending a theatre in Dublin. No leg-room
In the past week, two people have randomly complained to me about how uncomfortable they have been while attending a theatre in Dublin. No leg-room. And it’s a common complaint.

This story is shocking, not only in the way they were treated, but also for the fact that the company has such a stellar reputation for its customer service.

Why is public Irish media @news.rte.ie @rte.ie not changing its digital and social media strategy and is still sending public media audiences to places like X that now resemble Truth Social? It's using this platform but has not adapted share buttons or policy/playbook for journalists?

Is Adrian Kavanagh on here yet? His statistical analysis of the election is superb. Maybe @theresareidy.bsky.social could encourage him to join us..?

It was a privilege to know and work with Jon Kenny. And to be in attendance at his funeral in Lough Gur earlier today. A wonderful celebration of his life and work, with the finest musicians playing wonderful music, in the church and at his graveside.
