it's amazing that despite great metadata support in virtually all file formats still the best way to ensure people can actually access it is to simply print it all over the image

what i thought i'd do was. i'd market a ApplicationAccelerator plugin which does nothing but link with crtfastmath.o to put all the fenv(3) stuff in the most dangerous possible state process-wide after being dlopen()ed
