'Team Outcast' as I nicknamed it is basically 'Team Hooligan' without Fang. That is because Bean is a troublemaker, but both he and Bark are described as good-hearted people. Ray is the better choice and I don't really like Fang's presence in the team simply because he appeared in their debut game
What if, because of the Chaotix' absense, Bark, Bean and Ray are the 'team of outcasts' of Sonic Heroes, who just so happen to stumble their way into the main story? (Modern Ray was also made by Prime-101, but I could not find the sources for Bark and Bean).

Even though Vector is my favorite character of the Chaotix, I felt like Espio was the better choice specially for what he has going on for him in the Classic stories. Not only that, we KNOW that Amy isn't exactly as fast as the other characters, so giving her the Power type fits more in my opinion!
What if the Chaotix were not reworked into new characters, so Espio was the only detective (like his Classic counterpart) investigating Sonic's mysterious kidnapping of Chocola?

Even though Vector is my favorite character of the Chaotix, I felt like Espio was the better choice specially for what he has going on for him in the Classic stories. Not only that, we KNOW that Amy isn't exactly as fast as the other characters, so giving her the Power type fits more in my opinion!
I know that Shadow was only brought back because of his popularity, but even then, I like what they made for the character. With that said, I think EVERYTHING related to Shadow in that game and even in Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) could be made with Emerl in mind without losing much at all
What if Shadow was not brought back after SA2, so Emerl replaced him as the character with amnesia of Team Dark?

I know that Shadow was only brought back because of his popularity, but even then, I like what they made for the character. With that said, I think EVERYTHING related to Shadow in that game and even in Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) could be made with Emerl in mind without losing much at all
Mighty replacing Knuckles sounds weird at first but I like the idea of Knuckles still being the guardian of Angel Island while also bringing a similar character to the spotlight without sacrificing their relationships, specially because of how Mighty is presented in official Classic material
