While Chicago is hunkered down against a deep freeze, we wanted to share these photos from our Adventure Therapy ice climbing trip last weekend! Our youth had a lot of fun, faced fears, made great strides and showed resilience in the elements. Very cool! ❄️

We wanted to take a moment this morning to thank JR Dessert Bakery for making our 160th birthday celebration a little sweeter with their donation of these delicious cupcake jars! They were a hit! Go visit them in West Rogers Park for a huge selection of tasty treats!

What brought you holiday cheer this season? For us, it was Aramark once again volunteering their time to bring our CFTC a joyful holiday party! Our youth are ending the year with cheer to spare thanks to the wonderufl food, fun, games, and of course the visit from Santa. Thank you, Aramark!

Lawrence Hall’s South Shore team celebrated community in a big way today-- serving over 300 meals! This Thanksgiving, we were grateful for May St, our new community partner, Exquisite Catering Co., the Alderman’s Office, our team, and the amazing families we serve!

We are so proud to be breaking ground today on our Lakewood LGBTQ+ Community Home. In the coming months, we hope to make this home as warm and welcoming as the Edgewater neighborhood that gave us such a beautiful reception while we marked the occasion with staff, partners, and community members.

How are we managing the first snow of the season, Chicago? ❄️ The volunteers from Northern Trust closed our Garden of Serenity for the winter in the nick of time! We were so grateful for their hard work last week, and we're glad to know our garden will be beautiful as ever next year. #NTGivesBack
