£750 ..sounds daft to say but amid the modern insanity of "elite golf course" greens fees that's actually reasonable (certainly less than I thought it would be for what you get). The Links Trust is a good organization, IMHO.
You can play the Old Course in reverse for three days in April 2025. They brought back the tradition this year and will continue it

Since No Laying Up doesn't seem to have bothered, let me post on this platform an interview they've just done with outgoing R&A CEO Martin Slumbers. It's excellent, as has been Slumbers' tenure at the governing body. What a transformation he wrought .. thank God.

Professional golf is such a fine line and good players just need a break. Elvis Smylie missed the first stage of the Euro Tour School a month ago by a shot. Missed the cut at final stage last year by a shot.
