Every time I see a new user who has discovered Tily post about it in the main sub, I brace myself to watch their curiosity and excitement get crushed by the lsks and mods. Still can’t believe they basically pulled a Hetlors-of-the-Gaylors move with that anti-Tily post a few years ago.

It is deeply sad to me that she has now reconfirmed how much thought she puts into her work, the influences and performance art, yet her first press about this is completely abt football and her and Travis. It’s like she doesn’t take her own work seriously enough to give it the press it deserves.

I feel like I missed out on the era of Gaylor, if there was one, that was more abt lyric analysis & her art & not so much on big theories. People can do what they want ofc & some are fun but it feels sometimes like we lost the plot a little with MMT & the doomsday cult coming out predictions.
