I have been working so much on a special project for work that I will be spending today catching up on my day to day work. 🙄
Next weekend is all Taylor weekend (new concert movie and docuseries drop), and I'm keeping my calendar cleared for that no matter what.

Mammogram results came back normal, so the months long process of tests and scans to make sure I'm still in the game is finally over until May of 2026!

So today my fellow Project Manager berated me for 5 minutes straight for putting some tasks that are also tracked in our PM software on my calendar. She has given up booze, sugar, carbs, etc. recently and is miserable but hell if she'll take that out on me. I'll be speaking to our boss on Monday.

The Effexor that I was put on a few months ago didn't really help my hot flashes, but it appears to have improved my IBS symptoms radically, and I'm finding myself with much less anger and anxiety. My Ob/Gyn is letting me stay on it even though I'm back on HRT for menopause, and I'm really grateful!

Am I starting an actual skincare routine in my mid-50s that isn't just Kirkland wipes and the cheapest e.l.f. moisturizer? I sure am!

Not that I have any intention of selling our house anytime soon, but it still pleased me to see that our next door neighbor's house, which is an exact comp for ours, sold in 3 days for twice what they bought it for in 2003 (the same year we bought ours).

For anyone being criticized for being child-free because "who will take care of you when you're old" I'd like to present my 85 year old aunt dying of terminal cancer who has FOUR kids, but the only person showing up to take care of her is my 76 year old mother.

Our neighbors who are in their 80's are moving to an independent living facility in November and I'm just relizing we'll have new next door neighbors for the first time in 22 years 😭

Made it back from the trip to the in-laws in KY without too much drama. Did some paddling which was the best part of the trip.
Tomorrow is clear liquid diet and colonoscopy prep day. Here's to a squeaky clean colon with zero cancer this time around.

Mr. Kelly is heading off on a solo trip tomorrow to visit his friend who lives in Colorado, so I will be on my own for 6 days for the first time in forever.
I've already put my grocery order in, planned both a brunch and a sushi outing, and will make a liquor store run tomorrow.

Bucks 2025-26 schedule just dropped and it looks like there's a good chance this year we can take the Amtrak Aurora train to the Twin Cities to see them play the Timberwolves at an away game! I've penciled December 21st in on my calendar.
