Supporting midlife women with movement, rest + brain-boosting practices. Based in SW France, I offer online classes + in-person retreats (+ sharing a few renovation adventures along the way!)
Wreath-making — creative, connective, and deeply settling for the brain.

Hands busy, attention focused, nervous system softening. A simple reminder that creativity supports calm, clarity, and cognitive resilience through midlife — especially when shared with others 🌟

A few vignettes from our Sunday walk around the village — blue(ish!) skies, flowers still in bloom, and a touch of November sunshine 🌥️⁣

A simple wander can help to clear the mind and lift your mood. Movement, fresh air, and novelty - all nourishing for body and brain 🧠⁣

This house seems to have its own timeline 😅
At the moment it’s all boxes, beds, and stuff EVERYWHERE — a reminder that transformation, like midlife, is rarely tidy.
Here’s to slow progress and a little calm in the chaos 🍂

Balance isn’t only about movement — it’s about how we pause too. 💛

Rest helps your brain reset and your nervous system settle — bringing a little more ease through midlife.

Kitchen is in 🎉 💃 (final touches coming!) but the house is still in flux.

A few moments of balance play help me feel grounded when life feels too much — and remind me balance isn’t about being perfectly still ✨

How do you reset when everything feels a bit much?

Happy Sunday 💛 Today is World Alzheimer’s Day — a reminder that what we do now helps keep our brains healthy for years to come.

Try a balance pose + add a little height! It wakes up feet, sharpens focus, & challenges your brain. Books, blocks, or chair — wobbling = learning! 👇

When life feels chaotic — like renovations and turning a house upside down 😵‍💫🤪 — it’s easy to put your body last.

Stress + busy days often land in the shoulders. This simple stretch is my go-to reset: slow, gentle, and a little goes a long way 🩵

After weeks of wine-crate scraping, box carrying + painting, my hands + wrists were ready to go on strike 😅 A reminder that small parts carry a big load too.

This stretch helps wrists + hands, and can also ease arms, shoulders + neck 👋

Kitchen woe tales… our walls were tiled floor to ceiling with wine crates they’d been glued, nailed, blue-tacked + even taped!

Underneath? Crumbling plaster, wallpaper + holes 😩. Cue days of wall scraping!

New kitchen coming soon tho 🎉! Plus the wrist stretches that saved my aching fingers 👋

When life feels full, rest is how we come back to ourselves. Even a pause can calm the nervous system and clear a busy mind. 🌿 Join me Sun 31 Aug for End of Summer Reset — a restorative online workshop. Link in comments ☺️

Shared the before pics last time… things are decidedly messier now 😖! The kitchen is our biggest project yet — all dust, disruption, and more dust. Turns out, renovations and midlife have a lot in common 😏… messy, but eventually something new emerges 🌈

A little peek inside ✨ Before the boxes arrived, I snapped a few photos of the house ‘before’ — full of light, space, and a few quirks. White walls, tall windows, high ceilings, and wide hallways gave it such an open feel. PS: more glimpses (and quirks we’re editing out 😅) soon!

Renovating an old house comes with surprises-some delightful (hidden windows) and some less so (huge gaps 🫣). With twists like these, I’ve had to move the End of Summer Reset workshop to Sat 31 Aug, 14.00 GMT

New date, same gentle pause to help calm body + brain as summer shifts into autumn 🍂

Our new home has a bit of a past. Once a B&B run by a creative couple (one a former Danish set designer), it even featured in House & Antiques magazine!

We saw over 80 properties before we found this one—but something about it just felt right.
We’re slowly shaping it into our own version of home 🩵

Most nights the French countryside is peaceful…but sometimes it rocks 🤘!

We moved to a tiny 13thC bastide in southwest France this spring—straight into renovations and a lot of dust 😅 Our home sits on the old village wall, overlooking vineyards + sunflowers. Slowly shaping it into a place for rest, reconnection, and future retreats 🌻 Here’s a little snapshot for you 🇫🇷🩷

It’s hot here in our little corner of France. Really hot 🥵

If you’re wilting too, try this: lie down, spread out like a starfish, strip off (as far as feels decent 😄), and let the ground cool you.
It’s simple, but it works.
Got your own cooling tips? Share below — we’re all melting! 🧊☀️
