currently working on owed art and drawing a swamp, especially with gentle night colors, really brings me back to when i wanted to escape home as a child
i would go to deeper in the forest to find the big swamp and bicycle around it, check if there were frogs if it rained, etc.

i got nostalgic with a friend today so we drew our old sonas from years back... he's extra noodley but i'll definitely want to redo his design, he's so still important to me!

i wish I could've gotten more than one artfight attack done this year... so many ideas on standby in my brain, and giving random fanart is awkward
(although there were irl factors that made it lucky for me to even get to participate, therefore i'm happy i still did, i just orz)

Whenever I've been able to elevate my swollen feet, I've been doodle journaling about baby time.
It's the best but physically the hardest thing I've ever done. I'm scarred, swollen, run down, sore, and a little overwhelmed at times but the amount of love I have for little dude is indescribable.

Artists feel pressured to make new art too quickly at the moment. Normalise artists fucking disappearing for months. Just walk off into the woods for a year and come back with a single sketch. It’s good for you
