My dog tried to attack my fiancé‘s cat last night and while intervening, he ended up, biting me in the face and the hand. I’m at the emergency clinic this morning. They gave me a tetanus shot and we’ll see what else they say.

My boss said something so true it touched me deeply today; she said “our job isn’t about preventing behaviors, it’s about being prepared for them and when they happen to ensure it’s the residents who understand that it’s up to them to change bc it was them who got themselves into that circumstance.”

I’m working at a new house today! Been loving my new job still! Keeps me on my toes and I don’t have to beg to be paid at the end of the week. Also it’s my last work day before a 3 day weekend where I’ll be spending my time off work moving in with my fiancée 🥰

I got a new job and I start orientation today!
It’s been such a rough journey for work lately since MN shut down the department I worked for for the past year and a half with the housing. It’s sucked but hopefully this is the start of something new and long lasting. God knows I need the stability!

Most of us understand that drawing isn't a matter of inherent talent, but aquired skill. I also think a lot about how your success in learning to draw might have to do with how well you handle frustration, and how comfortable you are with making mistakes. The barrier i usually see--
