Strava putting Year in Sport behind a paywall this year is the dumbest business decision I've seen since... they sued Garmin for something they didn't make 🤦🏽‍♂️ This is free marketing for them and they just threw it down the drain. Last year I saw loads of friends post theirs on stories. This year? 1.

It's very telling re: #youtuberecap how even with all the data in the world, Google was very careful not to show you "hours watched" as a metric 😂

It's funny how I'm somehow in LTT's top 2% of viewers and I'm not even subscribed to them @linusmediagroup.com

It took me nearly all year but I finally figured out how to make my non-Garmin smart scale automatically sync to Garmin Connect

Every now and then I'll stumble into the debate of a flag redesign for the Australia - my favourite continues to and will probably always be the Unity Flag. Just so well done.

Lightroom's Assisted Culling Feature is a great idea and something I've wanted for ages, but it is so poorly done I think it wastes more time than it saves

Back in Aus for a bit and the TV here is mind numbing. Mostly ads or endless iterations of the same old reality/game/cooking show formats - can't even stand having it on in the background

Listening to some new songs in bed as the sun begins to set, and amazed at how good and comfortable my Sony XM3 headphones are, nearly 6 years after I bought them 🎧 One of the tiny plastic bits of a hinge broke but nothing some duct tape couldn't fix

I'm out of breath just watching these #tdf cyclists on this climb up Tourmalet. 11%!!

Watching the Tour de France as they cycle through the rain and all I can think about is how none of them have mudguards... must be so gross in the Peloton

It's genuinely concerning just how little Meta cares about your well-being. I tried stopping meme and low quality content from showing up in my Reels feed using "don't show reels from this account", to make it less addicting, and they completely ignored it. Resorted to blocking indiscriminately

It's a sign of a healthy democracy that Dutton's crowd actually applauded after he congratulated Albo. None of this hyper-toxic polarised mindless sports team bullshit you'd get from the MAGA nuts in the US.
