La Sainte Union Catholic Secondary School, 11-18 girls school with a mixed Sixth Form as part of the LaSWAP consortium.
Year 9 students recently had the chance to see what GCSE Art is like. At the taster sessions, they all worked very hard and were willing to take risks with new materials and ideas.

In other science news, we'd like to share STEM Club's progress! Students are working on self-initiated projects and are putting their methods to the test, collecting data and refining their investigations. It’s been wonderful to see their growing confidence as young scientists. #GirlsinSTEM

This week we enjoyed hosting a group of staff and students from Taiwan. It was a brilliant cultural exchange. The overseas students joined us in the classroom, including in this interactive science lesson, while teachers discussed the differences between the education systems of their countries.

Year 9s had a powerful and inspiring visit to Belsize Square Synagogue – exploring Jewish faith, history, Holocaust remembrance, and stories of courage. They reflected on hope and compassion through a symbolic leaves project. We're so proud of their empathy and maturity.

Yesterday we marked #HolocaustMemorialDay2026 in tutor time. We remembered the millions of Jewish people and other groups who were systematically persecuted and murdered by the Nazis and their collaborators during the Holocaust. We also reflected on subsequent and more recent genocides.
