Why not? It's May, the weather's nice, Toto's still great, bass is still fun. Getting back on the horse with this classic late 80's pop banger. This is one of the tunes I can remember hearing and liking as a kid. I was 10 when this album came out, and the chorus just stuck with me. It would be a few years before I got into Toto and discovered their amazing back catalogue, but when I fell, I fell hard. Mike Porcaro's bass playing was always about serving the song, and this track is a prime example. Not a single flourish or lick that sticks out, just rock solid pocket bass playing with immaculate touch and tone. A true role model performance. Rest in peace, Mike. I would have loved to have met you and told you to your face what your playing means to me. As before, Precision, Avalon, Apollo. Enjoy.
