Skip Hop Jump hit the nail on the head. Every budget crisis Republicans promise they will address critical health and welfare issues important to all, if only they pass a short fix. Just as Lucy promised not to pull the football away each year, they lied. Will Dems continue to be Charley Brown?

Trumpcare - give people $2000 to pay for a hundred thousand dollar bill for surgery, hospital stay and chemo followup. Yeah, that'll work. NOT!
November 11, 2025 at 6:06 PM
I still underestimate the stupidity of Trump and his nieve followers. Sounds good . Give $2000 to the people. He gets short bounce in the economy. They will not buy insurance with it. Insurance rates go up, and the Americans who spent it to live good short time, die anyway!

My hat is off to my fellow veterans today, especially those who served in combat. In my twenty years I served with some great men and women, as communications chief, combat engineer drill instructor, and yes, on a McClellan saddle with B Troop 4th Calvary. Love you guys.

Fetterman, you Dummy, it's is the country your party supports when they were trying to prevent an estimated 50,000 Americans a year dying because, unlike you, they had the guts to try to save those Americans, whereas you just killed them traitor! The Republican party supports the rich not country.
November 11, 2025 at 3:50 PM
Don't gloat Fetterman, you have killed an estimated 50,000 Americans a year by not insisting they must keep their healthcare. You make me ashamed to be a member of a party with so many gutless leaders who fail to stand up for regular Americans.

Life is good. Turn. Life is good.

$2000, yeah, and I have land in Florida and a nice bridge in New York for sale cheap! Even his commerce secretary does not believe it! Would you buy a used car from this guy?
November 10, 2025 at 4:20 PM
Why is it only the Democrats who have to cave? There were a number of Republicans ready to open the government, but a handful of Democrats nievely decided to believe a party of known liars who have a track record of trying to kill the ACA, killing an estimated 50,000 Americans.

I imagine an advisor of the "king" saying, "Low approval ratings? Let's 'wag the dog' and attack some country that never attacked us like Venezuela or Nigeria. Hey, it worked for Bush Jr.!" Of course, he don't have the guts to help Ukraine. Regime change? Start with Putin!
November 9, 2025 at 8:03 PM
"95%...happy..Trump" Was that on Fox or Newsmax or a poll of MAGA SUPPORTERS? Reputable polls have him at his worst disapproval rating of two terms. You guys really do live in a dark, evil fantasy world. Come to Jesus and act like real Christians; start loving America instead of a wouldbe Hitler.
November 9, 2025 at 7:48 PM
MAGA's are asking if Trump should get a third term. Sure, but only if Obama can run against him. Not even a contest. I believe Bill Clinton could beat him! Even Hillary would wipe the floor with him!
November 8, 2025 at 6:32 PM
Johnson claims his party is working hard to keep prices low. It is Republicans, beholding to billionaires and large corporations, who are working every day and delivering on higher profits for their overlords by taking affordable food and healthcare from American citizens.
November 8, 2025 at 6:21 PM
I noticed the MAGA's (or is it maggots), always calling for indictments of various Democrats for treason on X. Why? I didn't see Obama inciting insurrection against the Capitol on 1-6-21. Oh yeah, that was Trump committing treason wasn't it?
November 8, 2025 at 6:10 PM
We should never get enough of "sleepy Donald" after all the trash talking he did against Joe. If you are getting too old for the job Donnie boy, resign!
November 8, 2025 at 5:44 PM
What a fantasy: Trump caring for anybody or anything more than himself! It must be good to live in the MAGA universe and worry about nothing, until you either starve to death or get a serious illness and die after you pull your head out of the sand.

Turkey part 2. But mystery solved, the 2025 Trump Republican Thanksgiving basket had half the food of the 2024 Biden Democrat basket, so instead of 25% less, it was 25% higher cost. Just like Republicans to deliver less food and tell you that you are full. Somebody's full of it.
November 8, 2025 at 5:08 PM
Trump says the cost of a Thanksgiving meal is down 25%, so he don't want to hear about affordability. Not withstanding all the audacity wrapped around that statement, I will just ask one question. How did he come up with that number when turkey is up 32.8%?
November 8, 2025 at 4:57 PM
If you only get your news from Fox, really ignorant stuff comes out of your mouth, "Trump is great, I just wish the Democrats would give me my SNAP back." I said, "Trump's lawyers are in court trying to stop SNAP." He answered, "Naw, that's the Democrats fault. I heard it on TV!"
November 8, 2025 at 4:37 PM
This is not the Schumer shutdown Ted, this is the Trump shutdown who is a petulant, spoiled rich kid who wants to take healthcare and food from the other kids, but found out he can't, and you are enabling his tantrum against the needs of your own constituents.
November 8, 2025 at 1:46 PM
Sorry Ivanka, it's not Dems causing SNAP problems, that comes from the spoiled rich kid who says, "I don't want to hear about affordability", while giving a lavish Great Gatsby party in his gold guilded home while fighting against courts to prevent feeding hungry people - your Daddy Trump.
November 8, 2025 at 1:21 PM
Sounds cute, but its not b&w. The problem with Capitalism is that all that money is in the hands of the 1%, and everyone else runs out of money. Socialism does not make the rich poor, but Capitalism certainly makes most of the rest of the people miserable and poor so the rich can get even richer.

Sam Elliott supposedly said Trump supporters were not very smart
Truth is a good thing and the kind of down home honesty one has come to expect and respect from Sam Elliott. Guess it's nicer than my normal "idiots" reference to the lemmings of MAGA that follow their leader literally into jail.

I looked up the speech referred to by Stephen King and here's the link showing Republicans on the corporate teet since 1952. Listen to it all.

Part 2. Change "unwind reforms" to "restore democracy, morality, constitutional rights, food for the poor, Healthcare for the sick, dignity to our citizens and our leadership, fair tax from the rich, and reputation of our country to the world".
