Throwback pic: 20yr+ old pic of a #chainmail leash I made. 36" long, with wrist strap, steel rings in an 8-2 weave base. I made these mostly in 14ga, & they worked for both dogs & subs. Doubled as a belt, but was also conductive- so fun for electric play! BDSM gear isn't for all, but fun for some!

Getting ready for the next Faire event, making another #chainmail top. I use a foam bodied mannequin form so I can pin the cups into place, adding rings until their fully formed. Then I add neck & torso chains, & any extras the piece calls for. #wip #crafter #fantasyarmor #bikini

Faire season's not done yet, so there's still a lot of crafting to be done. Still, I try to make time to work on new projects and ideas- like this #chainmail cat ear headband prototype. Not 'there' yet, but what's your opinion on how it's coming? Any suggestions? #wip #crafter

Doing some more work on the site, getting it ready for the next stage, & I took some time to walk around & snap this pic. In the coming months, I'll be walking thru these trees dressed in various outfits for shoots- Knight, Centaur, Elf Mage, etc. Can't wait to get things started!

-the time you spend rushed crafting, to have extra inventory
-the hours of booth setup before Faire, and booth takedown after (every day), etc...

Today's #wip is more about how it's made, not what's being made. With #chainmail & #scalemail, it's slow going if you make a bit, pick up the main piece, add it, put the main piece down, and make another. I attach my main piece to a frame, and skip the pick up/ put down stages! #craftertips
