It's scary and depressing to watch a huge part of the world move forward without us. They will buy and sell merchandise elsewhere, vacation elsewhere, and look up to world leaders elsewhere. Meanwhile, we are stuck here watching our nation crumble and our rights be attacked. Elsewhere sounds good.

Attended my small town Mothers against Fascism protest yesterday. Mostly elders. Some "genius" counter protester yelled from his pick-up trunk, "Get a job!" Immediate laughter broke out from our band of retirees who payed into Social Security and want to protect it for all. It was Saturday.
