Mystik Dan, unraced since the #Belmont, finished last in the Malibu at Santa Anita. He never was in contention and looked like he was just out for exercise more than a race today.

Seems highly unlikely that HISA will truly be able to shut down the race tracks for a variety of reasons.

No one likes insurance companies but this is no way to air your grievances.

ICYMI...#SantaAnita cuts the purse of their big #KyDerby prep race, the Santa Anita Derby, from $750k to $500k. It's the first time the purse has been that low since 1994 (except for the Covid running in 2020).
