A great example of the limitation of #AI "thinking" and "understanding" which harkens back to the #CopernicanRevolution. I like this as I prepare to teach my #Mars class next semester. (And spend so much of my time on @sunyofficial.bsky.social AI projects.)

As someone who grew up in a working class household in IA, I would like to see Democrats spend more time focusing on pocketbook issues that allow everyone a path to a decent livelihood. It's discouraging how we have lost support among working class voters.

Recent paper apparently used #AI to call into question the #Navier #Stokes equations. If this holds up with the full equations, it could be a big deal, given all the cases that the NS eqns relate to
