By my count, there are 80 books on my shelf that I’ve never read. This year, I’m making an effort to actually start reading them. Even Ulysses. (ok maybe not ulysses)
It would be very funny if these investors just bought it to make an even bigger scrapyard. Imagine the beautiful views of Truckasaurus coming over the pedestrian bridge.

Following local news on here is wild because you’ll scroll through 30 harrowing posts about the protests in LA and be met with a random story about Walmart cakes

I just stumbled across a Soundcloud page with most of beloved (to me, at least) Nashville screamo band Oliver's Army's discography and I'm so excited to revisit these songs soundcloud.com/user-5611743...

It’s still unclear what Henry Rollins is building in Nashville. Is it a museum? A venue? A community center? All of those things? Something else entirely? Sounds like it’ll be another year before we know for sure.

I dare you to find a headline that better sums up Nashville in 2025 than this

Is there anything better than the serendipity of going out of town and discovering that a really sick show is happening down the road from where you’re staying?

As much as PTA just isn’t one of my guys, I can’t wait to see this on the biggest screen possible.

We all hate Ticketmaster but AXS has some of the clumsiest implementation of anti-bot measures I've ever seen. If you don't disable every security measure to protect yourself (including easily identifiable things like Private Relay), you get met with this fun message.

The Altjacent crew have had me out to shoot a couple of their shows at The 5 Spot and I really admire what they’re doing—trying to cobble together disparate rock scenes into one free monthly party. Next one’s April 4th!

For the past year, my wife has been working with IES on programs that fund innovative research and development for learners of all kinds—including workforce development and the military. The degree to which we’re shooting ourselves in the foot is staggering.
Hearing that DOGE went into the Dept of Education today and shut down almost the entirety of the department's in-house research arm, Institute of Educational Sciences, cancelling contracts totally about $900m.

I spent yesterday driving all over Nashville to catch as many 615 Indie Live shows as possible. I managed 14 artists across eight venues—all for $15. Here’s a few faves.
