New WIP sketch!

Away from home and passing time by recoloring an old piece from (checks notes) 2015. I'm...a little conflicted. I feel like my coloring is technically better now...but I like the old one more?🤔🤔🤔

File under "Art I Almost Didn't Finish." I wanted to draw a wallpaper for my phone featuring Jordan from Aura. The sketch looked good enough, but for some reason the coloring was turning out horrendous. This actually sat in WIP Purgatory for weeks.🤣🤣🤣

Today, just being thankful that I live in a world that enables me to share my worlds and stories with the world. I know life for us indie artists and authors can be hellish, but I'm still grateful for the control it gives me. Happy Thanksgiving!

This was actually my first attempt at a manga. I published Aura: Vol. 1 back in 2013. Looking back at it now, my art has come a long way. That's why I tell people to just try. You'll never be as ready as you think you need to be, but you'll progress quickly once you start doing.

Finished art! Another one Octavia, the Queen of Hearts. I think I finally managed the catch the ruthless side of her that hides behind the smiles and taunts.

One of my favorite characters to draw, and yet I've never named her.🤣 I just call her the "Tiger Huntress."
