The main copyright problem involved in Internet Archive case isn't the fair use limitation. It's that copyright law permits publishers to "sell" libraries time- or loan-limited book licenses in the first place.

My favorite thing about one of my current projects is that all critical information ended up in a cloud file called "Copy of decision tree so i dont fuck up the implementation" and we've kept it that way because now the team can simply type "fuck" into our browser and it'll load up.

Measuring productivity via word count really is a waste of time. The other day, I triumphantly wrote 1000 words in a single sitting. The day after that, I cut 900 of those words because they were taking the story in the wrong direction and bogging down.
Cutting was the more productive activity.
