Best thing about Nix and Devbox is how easy it is to ask for a reproduction.

Just get a copy of the devbox.json, and I can reproduce the user’s exact environment:

Destruction is a ratchet. The more you destroy the harder it is to rebuild. Once capital, reputation, and institutional knowledge can be gone in months, but take years to rebuild.
