I like how I went from a year ago saying "Oh, I don't really get the appeal of clear kits, they're just a money grab imo" to really loving them and wanting to get clear kits for all of my favorite Gundams. I'm hyped to finish the Aerial so I can pose them together. I think that's part of the appeal

They are not the same thing. With digital you don’t have to sharpen the graphite yourself, don’t have to erase it yourself, or understand and apply and feel how graphite works irl on different types of paper. That’s why the distinction is there.
