On the morning commute to my kids' school, we passed this @littlefreelibrary. I had this great idea to have a series where a little book goes on big adventures all over the world through these book boxes.

I had to renew my license today so I was in my vehicle a lot. Enjoying the music playing in my head—as one does—I go to turn up the sound on the stereo . . . for the music playing in my head.

There is so much to UNPACK here.
The print proof from my printer, Shenzhen Jinhao, came with so many goodies, including a copy of an offset printed book for comparison.

Had a terrible ADHD moment today. Did eCheck-in and paid for my child's appt last night. Knew I had to go today. AND FORGOT TO GO! Remembered after it was well past time. Moments like these make me feel decidedly NOT super.

Wow! Almost a whole year since I started a Kickstarter, another year since I finished writing and editing a children's book. The process to bring a picture book to life is long and nothing like I expected. But I'm so excited with where it is and what is going to be on my shelf.

I finally heard back from Little Free Library regarding use of the words "Little Free Library" and an illustrated depiction in my book. Now checking to make sure it won't be a problem to change it this late in the game. #kidlitauthor
