Labour’s record on LGBTQ rights in Ireland is second to none. Most major progress for our community happened with Labour’s support. It’s nice not to be politically alone in delivering legislation to address these unjust historical convictions thanks to SF, SocDem, Greens, PBP and IND TDs.

Republic of Ireland rises up the ILGA (Europe) Rainbow Map to 14th place!

This is great news, but we can do better. As noted, Ireland remains weak on many different LGBTQI+ issues.

Contact your local Councillors, TDs, Senators, and MEPs to inform them how we must improve LGBTQI+ rights.

Just out! Our peer-reviewed critique of the Cass Review has been published by BMC Medical Research Methodology. Please read and share. We show that the Cass Review is fatally flawed and should not be the basis for policy or practice in transgender healthcare.

As transgender rights are being rolled back and attacked across the globe, visibility must be paired with action.
