Didn't expect to be playing with chemistry lego, but I'm not mad about it. One of the better parts of Ochem (I'm taking museum collection conservation, chem is not my strongest skill)

I just spent my day finishing an assignment and prepping for organic chemistry. Then I had an organic chem lecture from 5-7 and the lab 7-9.
Far too much chemistry for one day.

Writing alt text is both difficult, but kind of rewarding? I've never had tp try and describe these weird things before

Decided I'd dump a pile of sketches I had stashed on my phone.
First two are 2024, last two are 2025. The second one has the spacedog design from my dnd campaign. The rest are all mental health venting.

Thank you for the encouragement! I should probably consider making a que. The backlog is big, so I don't think I'll be resharing everything.

Okay, let’s try this again.
I miss making art, and my current commitments (doing a postgrad course) are not helping.
Posting became a chore. But I want to share. I want to inspire others and be inspired by them.

Way back during #artfight a friend drew my warlock Latki’s god Koblat.
Koblat, the weird eldritch god that belongs to my friend @la-nute.bsky.social. another friendly fire for #artfight

Such a beautiful new way to look at the Earth.
I am fascinated by alternative centering on maps, and this one captures my imagination: "the world according to fish", showing the rivers, lakes and oceans, with ocean floor elevations.

The world aquatic.

Drawings from the local museum sketch event. They bring out specimens from the back rooms. The theme was tundra.

It's been fun to pick my mum's brain about it. She is also relearning it with me. I definitely recommend trying it if you like repetative tasks and good sound effects.

I've been practicing bobbin lace. Hopefully my Belgian great mémé is proud. Half the bobbins are still wound from her in the 1940s.

The world is a fraught place to build a nest. It's interesting to wonder what (beyond biology) drives us to keep creating more of ourselves, even as the existence we can promise future generations becomes increasingly grim.
