I'm watching my ants again before they leave for good (I'm so sorry, my loves), and I'm thinking about the way they avoid any finger I lay in their path. They smell it, spook, and run blindly for cover. But they don't see the big. They run right back to me. I love them so much
I don't think people understand just how much we are like ants to God. We got lucky with an enthusiastic God, but certain wiley ants make me scared for whole colonies

Update: I decided to do both. This is why AuDHD adults struggle with discipline, I feel. Delayed gratification is difficult when faced with an overwhelming task (crossing the street alone without a stop light on a hot day under the blinding sun)
