Wow, for the first time ever since I’m driving to Strasbourg I’m arriving and departing from another platform than track 25 xD Actually arrived on track 2 haha

And I’m back to drive the Offenburg - Strasbourg line after two and a half weeks. With the old diesel trains, one passenger door out of service, only 3 of 4 engines working and first ride from Offenburg to Strasbourg was so overcrowded again that I had to leave 10 people behind.

After two weeks of training for the Régiolis trains, I‘m back to driving regular services ~ Today I’m doing a Germany only service, driving the Mireo+B trains.

My return ride from Düsseldorf back home was a dream, I mean seriously, all trains were on time, everything worked, infrastructure performed amazingly, I arrived at home at the time I was promised to arrive, I couldn't believe I was actually traveling with DB. Keep it up! 😀

Today I had my theoretical exam for the new Régiolis trains, I passed x3 Another new train learned :D Now I have arrived in Düsseldorf for a nice weekend with furry friends, let’s celebrate 🎉 Just checked in ~

Today it began, my training for the new trains for the international local train traffic between Germany and France, dragon is learning a new train. Today was only theory though, tomorrow I’ll actually get my claws on it.

Phew, been catching up delay again 🥵 Unfortunately I was only able to skip 2 of the 5 on demand stops on this route, otherwise I would have gotten it down to 0 ^^ Reason for the delay was, big surprise, that was sarcastic, a dispatching fuckup by the signalman of DB in Offenburg.

Holiday in Germany, no holiday in France, seems like all the people from here were going to Strasbourg today… Just had a train from Strasbourg to Offenburg where I:
- Left 20 people and 5 cyclists behind in Strasbourg
- 40 people and 10 cyclist in Kehl
- 1 cyclist in Kork

First train of my service from Offenburg to Strasbourg was just surprisingly full, although, it’s Friday… Completely overcrowded, left 6 passengers and 3 cyclists behind in Offenburg and 4 passengers in Appenweier. But I don’t expect any other trains that full today.

Ugh… My trains got quite messed up again today due to persons on the tracks which caused a route closure x.x Finally back on time now though ~

First round of my service was chaotic today, persons on the track between Kehl and Strasbourg caused my first train to Strasbourg to get cancelled at Kehl, sent people to the tram and then there was a signaling malfunction which caused my next train to be delayed 😵💫 But now everything works again 😌

And I‘m back on the Offenburg - Strasbourg line! It’s been two and a half weeks ^^ No, I was not sick or on vacation, I actually really had Germany only services in the past two and a half weeks.

DB is doing it’s best to delay my trains today, they are fighting hard! But I’m fighting harder, getting my trains back on time ~ Even had a argument with a signalman already, I complained about them delaying and forgetting me. When he ran out of arguments he just hung up the phone 😂 Weak.

Also, I mean, I have seen a lot of weird, disgusting, interesting, terrible, crazy and even insane things in this job already… But yesterday I had a passenger in a train, who first sniffed and then licked over a passenger information screen at a passenger door, like, wtf 😵💫

I‘m having a standby shift today, means just be there and wait for work. Didn’t have such a shift for months. But they found work for me, they sent me to the diesel train workshop in Ottenhöfen to take a diesel train which is done with maintenance back to Offenburg. Let’s do it 👌🏻
