Why I voted no:
Residents were not given an opportunity to learn about the streamlining process.
No other cities in Orange County currently use this process regularly and I was concerned about the potential risks or liabilities.
Less opportunity to review, discussion, and give input on agenda items.

I got the opportunity to meet with the volunteers and families working with Peer 1 on 1, a local non-profit that works with youth who are neurodivergent. They asked me to speak last month at one of their events. I want to especially thank Erni and John for sharing their experiences as parents.
