Tragic day no less 5 years 1 day after the insurrection that 75+ million willfully ignored or rationalized.
Suns game is a welcome distraction this evening, but it’s a devastating day and for most we are so far removed there’s no way we can fully understand the pain caused by these evil people.

Did not love that ending but man the Suns just kept fighting on a b2b with bad travel. Winnable game even though the Rockets are a tough matchup with their size advantage it’s hard to scramble on rotations and clear the defensive rebound. 2nd chance points did them in.

I earnestly asked myself this past week if I can choose a new NFL team to root for and this is why. If I ever move from AZ, I just might adopt the local team.

Rookie kicker is going to take all the blame or “Lamar can’t win a big game”, but the miscues by Stanley and Hopkins put the Ravens in a tough position to convert on 4th & 7 then kick a moderately long field goal in that weather. Pretty bad screwups by two veterans.

PTL Jokic’s injury is not more serious. But this is another opportunity for the Suns to make their way into the top 6 despite being 3 gb Denver. Jokic out at least 4 weeks + Cam Johnson 4-6 weeks.
Austin Reeves is out at least 1 month. The Lakers are currently 19-10, but their expected record using Pythagorean wins (simple model) is 14-15 or 40 wins on the season. Suns are 2.5 gb LA with 44 wins expected over 82. If the Suns are going to get into the top 6, LA is the team to surpass.

The Suns consistently playing hard and winning more games is a lot more enjoyable it turns out than frequently playing soft and not winning very many games.

I appreciate JG’s loyalty, but head coaches need to make decisions in the best interest of the team and not a single individual. Retaining the OC earlier in the season when it was abundantly clear a change was needed was egregious. Now 3-13 the whole staff needs to be let go and probably the GM too.
