Can you name an oligarchy that has freed themselves to democracy without using violence?

I am so afraid. My only hope was that Dems would gain some majority and we could start to put things back together. Now, with red states changing districting, is there any chance that Dems can still become winners in upcoming elections? Or will it be made impossible?

Ya know, I’m not as angry at 47as I am at those people who saw the things he did and said 4 yrs ago and then heard what he planned for us—from his own serpent’s mouth, and they still welcomed him into the White House to destroy our democracy. Those people I can never forgive.
