2.5 was my fav Strive patch ever, and I'm glad we got it for like, 8 months. S4 may not be great, but it's hard to describe how bad 3.0 was.

Saturday pools are always weird. Spend all day Friday prepping, watching friends win and lose. But not getting your shot until the next day.
Almost time though. Feeling very ready, and confident! Pool 2 at noon tomorrow, can't wait to show off what I've been cooking!

The belt just showed up in the mail so I can finally post this. But holy shit, I'm so hyped to have taken the W at TOLs final tourney, the Royal Rumble!
Was mad fun! Killer event and a sick prize. Thanks to everyone at The Online Local for putting it all on! Was a great capstone to a goated series!

I really like this Strive patch, don't get me wrong. But really not looking forward to dealing with this version of Johnny + Pot for a few months

Very early opinions off the notes. Most changes were nerfs, so most winners won by being nerfed less, or not having their strongest tools touched. Very few buffs were given.

I think this is a very good patch for Axl.
-There were only 6ish buffs in the whole patch, and Axl got one of the stronger ones imo
-damage lowered across the board, Rensen left untouched
-Ram, May, GL all hit hard, all were problem MUs for us
-Pot stronger, but flick hurtbox is a W for zoners

I think this is a very good patch for Axl.

If I had to guess, I don't think Arcsys changes Axl in the Dec/Jan patch.
But if they do, I'm hoping they buff this new version of RW. They want it to give Axl space and plus frames. Great! Give it enough of either that it's a threat again.

RISC was a fantastic event! Love that we have another SoCal regional. Huge props to Kizzie and the team for making it happen.

Feeling so confident in the S4 gameplan! Just swept through a stacked top 8 without a loss. The S4 Rensen jail gameplan I've been working on is finally starting to click and it feels so damn good!

This Strive patch is so funny because like, 70% of the time I'm like "Damn, Arcsys did a nice job with these reworks"... But the other 30% I'm playing against one of the characters they messed up on and it's just paaaaaaaain!

Got my first bracket W of the season this weekend! My S4 Axl is still mad clunky and unpolished, but it feels good seeing the new gameplan starting to come together.
