Skipping #WinterFest and calling a season for #CanadasWonderland in 2025. I just wasn't motivated after catching a cold nixed the first 3wks of WinterFest. Then wanted to avoid crowds/cold to try to stay A1 for the holidays.

I heard that #CanadasWonderland attendance was down this year. I doubt that, it was stupid busy and affected my usual Spinovator and Dragon Fyre ending for a visit. Due to their queues being packed during my park exit routine.

One nice thing about the #CanadasWonderland Haunt 11am opening, I can get some chores done 1st thing and still be there for opening. Another day of coasters to help appease me until 2026. 3 #AlpenFury 1st thing, before gremlins, And one at sunset. #YukonStriker, 10 virtual walk-ons and 5 front row.

Today's #CanadasWonderland visit was another rollercoaster day, 32 of my 33 rides.
The gate "crowd" at 10:20am was a good omen. 18 of my rides were on #AlpenFury. I was shooting for 21, but train gremlins put a kink in that plan. Back again Sunday so I can break 50 for the season.

Today's #CanadasWonderland visit was another rollercoaster day, 32 of my 33 rides.
The gate "crowd" at 10:20am was a good omen. 18 of my rides were on #AlpenFury. I was shooting for 21, but train gremlins put a kink in that plan. Back again Sunday so I can break 50 for the season.

Not wanting to gamble on next weekend's weather, I banked another #CanadasWonderland visit today. Visit 22 was coasters (25 rides), since WinterFest has some flat rides for fun.
Turned out to be a much nicer day. Never really felt a chill until 4pm, when we started losing the Sun. Left at 5pm.

Not wanting to gamble on next weekend's weather, I banked another #CanadasWonderland visit today. Visit 22 was coasters (25 rides), since WinterFest has some flat rides for fun.

#AlpenFury was down for 2hrs, but I got a night ride on the way out, a 25min wait. I was mostly dressed for the chilly day, until around 4pm when we lost the heat of the sun. Glad I had gloves for the coasters. The 33 rides was a bit below expectations, hoped for 40.

#AlpenFury was down for 2hrs, but I got a night ride on the way out, a 25min wait. I was mostly dressed for the chilly day, until around 4pm when we lost the heat of the sun. Glad I had gloves for the coasters. The 33 rides was a bit below expectations, hoped for 40.

A little disappointed that my #CanadasWonderland visit tally is really trailing the previous three years, with just a couple of weeks of regular season left. I had 26 at list point in '24, but just 20 this year. However, the ride count is up 119 due to longer visits.

The FL was unusually quiet most of today, that allowed me to get my first #AlpenFury marathon, 10 rides in 3hrs. Three times I walked right up to the platform. Another long day and got 38 rides. Finally another Sledgehammer ride and my first ever Shockwave night ride.

Getting my three secondary Win10 PCs all up to date with the last updates before Win10 EOL. I'll likely enroll at least one in the 1-year extended support.
The "doesn't currently meet the minimum system requirements" is why I'm not going to Win11. Even if I wanted to.

Nice, going back to working from home after they shut down the Toronto office end of October. Two hours of my day back, instead of commuting. Transit fare and lunch savings will soon pay for my All Season Fast Lane pass.
And harvesting PC parts got my home PC up to 32GB RAM.

Sweet!! I completely missed two #CanadasWonderland operating days for the pre-WinterFest season. Nov 1st and 2nd, I thought the last day was Oct 26th.

After resting on Sunday, back to #CanadasWonderland today for visit # 15. My 2026 renewal yesterday included the All Season Fast Lane Plus. With the FL+ today, I felt less anxious about the crowd size, didn't rush lunch or my visit. And better variety of rides, starting with my 6th #AlpenFury ride
