It's all part of the Authoritarian playbook. Folks in a small town in the PNW of WA state did a great job covering the basics in their Labor Day protest. bsky.app/profile/madg...
I am so proud at the folks in my little town who came out to stand up to Fascism! This is a tribute to the folks in California who did this, wearing black outfits, covering their faces. It was an honor to film this for my community. If you look carefully you'll see my mom waving.

Just one of the many fascist things this administration is doing!

Exactly. WashPost sucks. They are trying to look like they give a damn while undermining everything the country stands for. Jonathan Capehart was right to leave to escape the "unapologetically patriotic" mandate from Bezos.

No, but it just that it won't count for anything.

Go Bernie! I make 4 monthly political donations. One is always to Bernie. The rest are to organizations working on building up the Dem party, like Run for Something. They both are setting the stage for the country perhaps one day we can be. And they aren't afraid to take the long view!

Love Dan Osborne. If we could have an independent like him in NE, IA, KY, ME, AK, MT, etc. We would have a much better country IMHO. We donated and wrote postcards for him when he ran in 2024 and will do so again when he runs in 2026. Dems could learn from him! www.thebulwark.com/p/dan-osborn...
Dan Osborn: Connecting with Working People
Osborn, the populist independent who ran a surprisingly close campaign for a Senate seat in Nebraska last year, is back for another run in the 2026 midterms.

Time to Dump the WashPost if you haven't already. Bezos requiring "unapologetically patriotic" coverage from those in the opinion section. I guess opinions are okay as long as they are the "Right" opinions.

They took $100M from Unicef, you know the place us older folks used to trick or treat for, and are going to spend $200M for a F'in ballroom. But I guess that is because Trump doesn't care about kids. Certainly not the boys and not the girls until they are at least 13 or so.

The President of the United States is a monster.
Virginia Giuffre’s brother: I think we were shocked by it—especially the use of the term “stolen.” Because she’s not an object. She’s a person. Someone who was recruited at Mar-a-Lago—his property… it just kind of makes us wonder… how much he knew
