The Woodland Avenue vehicle crossing at I-35 in Austin is closed forever.
One sidewalk remains open underneath I-35 at Woodland. But eventually pedestrians will also have to detour more than a mile to get to the other side of the highway.

TxDOT plans to open temporary U-turns at Woodland Avenue and I-35 in March. Those will eventually be closed and replaced with a pedestrian bridge over I-35 as soon as 2029.
