Got a fresh set of gouache for Christmas, so of course I had to test them out immediately 😅🎨

Did a little portrait study of Maelle from *Expedition 33* and I like how creamy these paints are. Still getting used to gouache (it dries a little different than I expect).

Jumped into the #jarlteeart3 “draw this in your style” challenge on Instagram and had to take a swing at the character Kageri 🙌

I kept the vibe but did it in my own style—played around with the shapes, and had a lot of fun making the design simpler.

New WIP ✍️

Been drawing with Arrtx acrylic markers and I’m really feeling the render so far… but I’m totally stuck on the background. Clean + minimal? Gradient? Pattern? Full scene?

Also not sure I’ll even finish this one, but posting it anyway.
