Also I usually use a whole rotisserie chicken and put the chicken in with the dumplings. I also put the chicken carcass in when I add the liquid just so it gets some extra rich chicken flavor

It's really good. I usually make a double batch of the dumplings, add them clockwise slowly so they don't stick together and be sure to cover them once simmering again. Takes a little extra time to cook them sometimes, just break one open to check. I also throw in whatever other veggies I have.

Just tried the pickled jalapenos I made this year and they are HOT!!! If you want a spicy and productive variety I reccomend "zapotec."
