An update on my github.com/modders-anon... : finally got first bootstrapper working. An idea of python script, wrapped into .exe by pyinstaller, to download and install python and git, clone a github project, and run .py from there, is quite funny. But it seems to work.

Today was a pretty good day for my project github.com/modders-anon... . I added alternative support for hashes (to support search on Nexus we need md5), with saving known hash remappings in the master game file to avoid rehashing on each box. And started to work on a bootstrapper/installer.

OMG, TIL that when I have Norton 360 for Gamers with 'Game Optimizer' enabled (which is default install on MSI laptops), modding apps slow down to a crawl. This 'feature' 𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑬𝑵𝑻𝑰𝑶𝑵𝑨𝑳𝑳𝒀 slows apps down by a factor of 10x - 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒏𝒐 𝒈𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒓𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈. 👿😡
