I hope, once my garbage is gone, the landlord still isn't able to dupe anyone else into the neglected property based on, "and this repair will certainly be done before you move in". I've had to pay a lot to clean up after my negligence, now it's his turn.

Finally hired someone to help with my quasi-hoarding situation (I say quasi because I am happy to get rid of most everything, I just haven't had the spoons in a very long time and so it built up to insane levels). I should have done this a solid month ago.

Today's Adventures in Moving; at 10:30am yesterday I let the dude downstairs know I was having the sundeck pressure washed today at 3:30pm. At 4pm the person doing the work calls and says dude is concerned about his tools, neon lights and things in the carport which he has turned into a shop.

Today in Thank Fuck We're Moving: Landlord forgets he has someone coming to look at the suite, person shows up, I am not there but my teens who have miserable colds are. The downstairs tenant lets this person through the house (sliding door was unlocked), freaks kids out. What. The. Fuck.

- the three adjoining doors to the basement suite do not have locks. At all. On either side.
- the typical utility bill total for just this suite.
- no recent updates or upkeep.
- the laundry is located down outside stairs

Current landlord went from advertising this dump for $250 more per month than I currently pay to only $50 more. Ouch, dude.
