So according to my medical results, the neurologists says I do have a mild case of intracranial hypertension, but it's not serious enough to warrant surgery or any medical procedure. I more or less need to lose weight, and they are increasing the dosage on my medication.

As if things couldn't get any worse, I ended up hydroplaning off the side of the road, damaging the front bumper and possibly the undercarriage. On top of that, I also got a ticket for "driving too fast due to weather conditions" after coming down an exit ramp. When it rains, it pours...

IIH is a condition that causes cerebral spinal fluid to build up around the brain, which leads to headaches, vision problems, tinnitus, and dizziness. I'm just so thankful it's treatable. I appreciate everyone who has been supportive to me throughout this whole process.

I finally got to see my neurologist yesterday, and I have an answer to my migraine and vision problems. I have a mild case of what's called idiopathic intracranial hypertension. Thankfully, it is treatable with proper medication, diet and weight loss. So begins the journey to a healthier me.

Good news is that the opthalmologist didn't see anything too unusual with my eyes or vision other than what I'm already aware of like my astigmatism in both eyes and my right eye being a little worse. I personally don't want to consider LASIK since I like wearing glasses. 😅

Morning, everyone! Again, apologies for disappearing a lot lately. My migraine issues are slowly getting better by the day, but I won't have any answers for sure until I see my neurologist next week. I'll be sure to post an update once it's all figured out.
