Advent of Code in Odin, day 20.

Kind of glad I am still solving those, around this point is where I usually drop off!

Once I figured out a way to solve part 2 it was mainly a matter of figuring out why my distances were off (and similar edge cases), but solved it in the end.

Finally an easy day again!
I have stopped going up at 06 now. Delta time between part 1 and 2 was quite good for me: 00:02:44

Day 13 of using Odin for Advent of code.

Today I wish I knew more maths!!
My first solution for part 1 was just a stupid search by pressing buttons and finding the optimal setup, but that would of course not work for part 2. So found a bin search solution there.. Not good overall!!

Advent of code, day 12 2024.

At a christmas party last night, sooooooo hungover, but managed to complete this before taking kids to school. Feel horrible though! Code is just a mess, but outputs the correct answers. Might clean up later...

Advent of code using Odin, day 11.

Was really fighting conversion from/to string/int, struggling with how to handle that. Ended up with the tryst old temp_allocator in the end. But will try to clean this up later!
