crypto is the scaling up of possible interaction between low/zero-trust counterparties and adversaries. federation is their divorce
I actually think vibe policing is natural, healthy, and people should have the tooling to collectively police the vibes of their own online communities. I want a global discussion platform where people can intermix, but also retreat and shield themselves when they need to.

i think this place will be ready once it speedruns at least the equivalent of ferguson, #metoo, at least 2 WWDCs, the birth of the single-page app, trump, kanye, a pandemic, clubhouse summer, that time every random posted screenshots of bail fund donations, cafecito, jan 6, “wordcel”
