Kim Kardashian’s new tv legal drama All’s Fair was panned as brain dead. Yet Trump’s DoJ drama is worse. Kim as a lawyer in a thong suit is more believable than Lindsey Halligan as an independent top prosecutor. Judges should toss her vindictive cases - and leave the bad lawyers to trashy tv.

“I think they will be successful on that motion” @kristygreenberg.bsky.social discusses why James Comey has a strong case for his vindictive prosecution motion to dismiss charges, especially with the appointment of Trump’s personal lawyer with no prosecutorial experience who brought the indictment.

Canada,
We know you're mad. We don’t blame you. But before you cut us off, just remember that Trey Yesavage came from us.

A big night for Trey Yesavage 🔥

The Blue Jays pitcher broke the rookie World Series record with 12 strikeouts.

In 2025, MN Dem State Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband were killed, PA Dem Gov Josh Shapiro’s home was set on fire, and a pardoned Capitol rioter was arrested for threatening to kill House Minority leader Hakeem Jeffries. Condemning all political violence shouldn’t be hard.
Schmitt on political violence: "Let's be clear: this isn't a both sides thing right now. This is happening on the left...look at what happened when the Catholic school kids were being shot at in church" (The Annunciation shooting was not an act of political violence and it's vile to claim otherwise)

Alina Habba’s got the only losing record in New Jersey worse than the Jets. Lindsey Halligan’s DOJ debut makes the Hunting Wives look sane. Trump wants unqualified loyalist prosecutors like them across the country to fight for him, not us. If that doesn’t scare you, it should.

“I don’t think there is a question that Donald Trump is weaponizing the Department of Justice.” @kristygreenberg.bsky.social reacts to Trump’s Oval Office event with top DOJ leaders or, as she calls them, the “Three Stooges” where Trump rattles off more names of political enemies to be prosecuted.

Tish James won a $500M fraud case vs. Trump. His payback? A $18K fraud case so bogus that his own top VA prosecutor left, his own AG said they can’t convict, and he sent in the clowns - an insurance lawyer, a wannabe Columbo, and a guy who isn’t a lawyer but plays one on X - to make the case.

Bondi’s DOJ closed the Homan investigation. She claims not to know if a tape exists of Homan taking cash. If true, she’s wildly incompetent. If she’s lying, she’s facing perjury and obstruction charges for a future DOJ to prosecute.
WELCH: There's a tape, right, with Mr Homan. Is there a tape with audio and video of the transfer of $50k?

BONDI: You would have to talk to Director Patel about that

WELCH: I'm talking to you

BONDI: I don't know the answer

WELCH: You do know

BONDI: Don't call me a liar!

Diddy got 4 years for over a decade of violent sex crimes. Below what prosecutors wanted. Below what Probation wanted. Below the Guidelines of 6-7 years. The judge called it substantial. I call it a betrayal.
October 7, 2025 at 1:10 PM
NEW: Diddy sentenced to 50 months in prison. Less than the 11 years prosecutors requested. Less than the 5 years Probation requested. More than the time served defense request.
October 3, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Normal sentencing: 1 hr, 1 defense counsel speaks. Victims speak; defense character witnesses can’t.

Diddy’s sentencing: 6+ hours, 6 kids, 5 lawyers, reverend, and rehab director spoke. Diddy’s team bullied a victim not to speak.

What a difference money, power and fame makes.
October 3, 2025 at 8:11 PM
NEW: Diddy’s team is trying to bully the judge into a time served sentence. The documentary last night. The public appearances for next week in Miami before sentence is imposed. It won’t work. They overplayed their hand and it’s a bad look. No shot he’s getting time served.
October 3, 2025 at 5:40 PM
DIDDY NEWS: Judge said the Guidelines range is 70-87 months. It’s rare for judges to impose sentences below the Guidelines range for convicted trial defendants. I cannot imagine a judge doing so where the defendant denies that there are any victims to his crimes, as Diddy has done here.
October 3, 2025 at 5:02 PM
“Victims and survivors will never be safe.” That’s what Cassie Ventura told the judge before Diddy’s sentencing. Her words are a brutal reminder of sex crime victims’ pain and suffering. Today when Diddy is sentenced, the judge must deliver justice for Cassie.

MAGA: Why didn’t you complain when Biden didn’t release the Epstein files?

For good reason. Releasing the files could’ve jeopardized DOJ’s case vs. Maxwell. But in September 2024, Maxwell lost her appeal. A retrial is unlikely. Nothing stops Trump from releasing the files now.

I tried a federal sex trafficking case with 1 victim. Trafficker got 20 yrs in jail.

Acosta knew of 50+ Epstein victims. Federal charges carry 15 yrs - life, but Acosta cut a deal: state case and 16 months in jail.

How many victims did Acosta need to bring a federal case?

Trump is torching the First Amendment. His AG wants to prosecute hate speech, his Deputy AG thinks heckling is a RICO crime, and his FCC Chair sounds like mob muscle. Hot newsflash: the Government can’t punish views it doesn’t like.
September 21, 2025 at 1:35 PM
Patel: Court orders block releasing the Epstein files.

Court order: The Government is the logical party to completely disclose the Epstein files to the public.

That’s a green light. Release the Epstein files.

Kash Patel turned his Senate hearing into the Jerry Springer show. In 2023, Patel told Congress: “Put on your big boy pants and let us know who the pedophiles are.” Now he’s part of the cover-up. Time’s up - Patel needs to suit up and do his job. Release the Epstein files.
September 18, 2025 at 2:37 PM
What a clown show. Congress served a subpoena on the Epstein estate for the birthday book, but Patel says a subpoena wouldn’t obligate the estate to provide it to the FBI. Huh? Also Maxwell recalled the book from discovery, so the FBI must already have the book. 🤦‍♀️
PATEL: The estate of Epstein has a voluminous amount of information that they have not released

LIEU: Wouldn't it be great if the FBI subpoenaed the estate?

P: The estate is under no obligation to provide that information

L: That's just false. You're the frickin' FBI! You can subpoena information
September 17, 2025 at 6:58 PM
Patel’s testimony that a court order prevents DOJ from releasing interview reports isn’t true. The Epstein court order said interviews aren’t secret and DOJ “is the logical party to make comprehensive disclosure to the public of the Epstein Files.” Release the Epstein files.
GOLDMAN: How is that not legally allowed?

PATEL: Do you know how court orders work?

GOLDMAN: Actually, Mr Patel, I was a real prosecutor for 10 years
