I make things. My main focus is garment sewing, but I dabble in embroidery and other textile arts as well. I also love dinosaurs, the natural world, people who care about people, and food.
New tank mate just dropped. Meet Frederick. Fred is a zebra nerite snail, chilling in my child’s betta tank. Fred is very slow and I hope will not lay eggs because nerite eggs look terrible.

Just finished my library catalog card sweatshirt. Pattern is a mashup of two. I saw another sewist on IG (Jasika, not sure if she’s on Bluesky) knit a vest like this and was inspired to make my own version.

Can’t wait for the new Jurassic Park. Not sure why the spoose isn’t.

I’ve noticed recently that the light from my sewing machine is great for displaying my new nail polishes. I think I’m part dragon for my love of glowy sparkly nails.

This is the Newport One Piece pattern. I like the long sleeves for sun protection while paddle boarding.

I also made this sundress. It’s got dinosaurs and I love it. No pattern to recommend here - I strayed far from the path.

Starting to post my makes here as part of my move away from the ‘gram. Pictured here is the Named Eloisa sweatshirt, sewn in a rose colored Sherpa from Stylemaker Fabrics in WA. Made in Fall 2024.
