I continue to be impressed with Pete Buttigieg. At the very least he is an excellent communicator at a time when Democrats (and Americans generally) need someone who can explain why Trump's policies are so dangerous.
I care deeply about who Michigan will elect as Governor and send to the U.S. Senate next year, but I have decided against competing in either race.

I wrote more here about my decision and how I view the work required of us all in this moment:

Quick math shows that something like more than 12 million people are receiving SS benefits. That would be out of a total of 67 million people currently receiving benefits. The administration is really going to claim that 18% of recipients are fraudulent?

In 2009 the GOP was apoplectic about the ACA because - wait for it - it was communism taking over the US.

Ahh, good times. Good times.

DOGE is scraping all kinds of data from its access of Federal databases. They’ve already said that they will be deploying AI to analyze this data, which is (maybe?) unsecured.

Meanwhile SecDef disbanded the group monitoring Russian cyber activities.

No need for concern, amirite?

Where is Tom Emmer? Certainly not holding a town hall. He rarely, if ever, does. He just voted for a policy that’s polling at 71% percent against…amongst TRUMP VOTERS.

That would be cutting Medicaid.

Answer to your constituents, Tom.

The GOP has lost decisively multiple times in midterm elections by attempting to make cuts to health care. And this budget calls to cut Medicaid by 10%.

You'd think they'd learn.
