Thrilled to be speaking at the Reverse Aging Summit on September 5 in beautiful Costa Rica. My topic for the talk is "Beyond Rapamycin: Advancing mTOR inhibition and combinational therapies for radical life extension". Let's meet if you are going there. Get your ticket at reverseagingsummit.org

Bryan Johnson gave up on rapamycin. Krister Kauppi’s just getting started. ”Bryan has interpreted the study wrong and this can happen to all of us from time to time.”

I have now registered for one of the biggest longevity conferences in the world ARDD. It will take place at the end of August in Copenhagen in Denmark. I was there last year and there were lots of great people and talks. So I’m looking forward to more of that. Who is planning to go there as well?

Time to start building the longevity movement on Bluesky 🙏
Do you share these goals? Then tell me and I'll add you to the list: go.bsky.app/E2oy2jV

Oskar Matti has done a really great job in adding more data to the Longevity Intervention Database (LID). So now we have all the data from the ITP in both mice and worms in one place. We also have data on calorie restriction, fasting, exercise, trametinib and senolytics. masteronething.com/lid

Last month Ajla Hodzic Kuerec, Deborah Lee and Andrea Maier published a very interesting systematic review of Rapamycin and rapalogs (pubmed: 38310895).

It’s time for an update of the list of longevity leaders who take Rapamycin.

Getting old, suffer and die really sucks! On top of that life is way too short. So last month I started to think about what simple actions people can take to support the research and progress around radical life extension. I ended up with these five actions.

Life is way too short and therefore one of my main life goals is to increase the odds in radically extending it. One of many steps in that direction is to set up strategies on how to achieve this. So I started to sketch on it and came up with roughly 5 potential strategies to radically extend life.

It’s time to fill the Longevity Intervention Database (LID) with more data. Last time I added all the mice data from the ITP (Intervention Testing Program) to it. Now it’s time to take the next step and add all the CITP (Caenorhabditis Intervention Testing Program) data to the database.

Launch of the Longevity Intervention Database (LID) to store longevity intervention data in one place. Step by step we will add more data and functionality to the page. First out ITP data.

The ITP (Intervention Testing Program) is the gold standard for yearly testing of different longevity interventions in mice. The research team has recently published their yearly results (pubmed: 38041783) and it did not impact the current top list much that I have presented before.

I will soon interview one of the world’s leading Rapamycin researchers Joan Mannick in the Rapamycin Longevity Series podcast. She has made and is making a huge contribution to the field with her research around the next generation of mTOR inhibitors. Are there any questions you want me to ask her?

The longevity physician Sajad Zalzala from the company AgelessRx has been added to the list of longevity leaders who take Rapamycin. He is taking 6 mg of Rapamycin once every week. He is also the person who is leading the biggest Rapamycin longevity trial in humans which will very soon be completed.

The roadmap for the Rapamycin Longevity Lab is taking shape. It's time to start moving the field forward in a big way 🙏
November 7, 2023 at 4:25 PM
Today I launched the first community-driven Rapamycin Longevity Lab which will start to move the field forward in a much faster and efficient way. We will start up two revolutionary projects together. You can find more info on the homepage. Link you can find in the comment below or on my profile.
